We are announcing, TODAY, a NEW CHAPTER…the dawning of a new day for our world-recognized and already greatly respected ministry.
We are claiming the scripture verse found in the Book of Isaiah, in the Holy Bible, as God’s promise to fulfill our NEW CHAPTER—our new vision:
“See, I am doing a NEW THING! Now it springs up;
do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19
The six initiatives found in our NEW CHAPTER read like this:
➢ WE WILL grow our international television ministry—the Hour of Power—reaching out to include a younger demographic so that this positive message of Jesus Christ will live on to generation after generation—the Hour of Power will stay on TV.
➢ WE WILL evolve our current Hour of Power format so that it becomes more visible and accessible on the Internet and new leading-edge technologies.
➢ WE WILL build a humanitarian track that demonstrates to those with the greatest need that God has not forgotten them, but He does love them—through HOPE CENTER—a place, at the Crystal Cathedral, where people who are living on the streets, under bridges…men, women, and yes, children…can find hope and begin to dream again.
➢ WE WILL fabricate, deliver, and build houses for homeless families in Mexico—at least six a year for the next five years.
➢ WE WILL plant Christian schools around the world in pockets of high illiteracy. These schools will be modeled after our own very successful Crystal Cathedral Academy.
➢ WE WILL combat the growing and very hurtful epidemic of “cyber bullying” with our New Hope Online that is targeted at teens around the world who have lost all hope and are at the point of taking their own lives.
