Dear Friend,

Several months ago, I distributed prayer cards to persons seated inside the Crystal Cathedral.  I encouraged them to fill in their prayer requests and to place their completed card in the offering plate.

Then, in a private place, I personally held each card in my hand as I read and prayed over every single card - then signed and mailed each one back to the person who had forwarded it to me.

"I prayed for you today..."

...was my greeting to everyone receiving their prayer card back from me in their mailbox.

I prayed over thousands of these cards.

Quickly, it became very apparent to me that there were three major prayer requests mentioned 90% of the time:

Prayer for health -

Physical health

Prayer for finances -

Financial health

Prayer for closeness to God -

Spiritual health

As a pastor, I have heard these same three prayer requests over and over again...

...whether in cards and letters, or in counseling sessions.
