Dear Friend,
It moves my heart greatly to see the countless ways that God's hand has always guided this ministry from the very beginning.
For instance, in 1950, my mother gave to my father (I hadn't been born, yet) a Bible-her gift to celebrate his ordination as a minister for Jesus Christ after his graduation from Western Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity degree.
In the Bible, on the dedication page she handwrote nine words:
"Bob,
"God Loves You, and So Do I!
Arvella"
Yes, that world-famous line, the trademark of our worldwide ministry was born from my mother's expression of love to my father and the work that he was called to do for God in ministry. They became PARTNERS in ministry. They've continued to live their entire lives TOGETHER in God's ministry.
And, all of this serves to remind me, today, of YOU and the PARTNERSHIP of ministry that we share as we BOTH seek to keep our weekly televised Hour of Power alive and on the air in 2011-our 41st year on national and international TV.
So, I write today to ask you for a gift...a gift of any size that we can use over the next few weeks to keep our weekly televised Hour of Power on the air in YOUR home and the homes of millions and millions of others.
As you have already may heard, our ministry expenses have been cut down and we have been forced to reduce our mailing costs...so in an effort to save in our ministry expenses, you may not be getting our usual letters in your mail box. Please, respond NOW...TODAY. You can request your "God Loves You and So Do I!" necklace today or you may also mail in your request if you'd prefer. You can also call us TOLL FREE AT 1-866-GET-HOPE (1-866-438-4673).
Thank you for being our PARTNER in God's great work.
God Loves You and So Do I,

Dr. Sheila Schuller Coleman
Senior Pastor
Crystal Cathedral & Hour of Power
P.S. To thank you for your heart of ministry expressed through your supportive gift...
...I'll return to you my "thank you" in the form of a very pretty, silver-plated, heart necklace, complete with chain. The heart itself looks like it's covered with sparkling diamonds (they're not real diamonds, of course), and I think you'll love it. It's pictured above.
Every time you wear this necklace (or see it on someone you might give it to), you'll be reminded of the loving help you provided to keep our "God Loves You and So Do I!" televised ministry alive.
