For over 40 years now, I've stood before you and other members of our television Hour of Power congregation, and said, countless times, words like these:
"Unless I receive from you, TODAY, your gift of support, the Hour of Power could very easily and very quickly go off the air in your home."
I've been criticized for making this, and similar statements, by persons who said I did it "too often." But, you must understand -what I've already said possibly thousands of times and believe me when I say it-it's still true today! Our televised ministry needs you. We need your year-end gift, today. Without your year-end gift now, we could go off TV entirely...and this, of course, includes in your home.
Yes, it's STILL TRUE TODAY-if it weren't for YOU and YOUR support, your prayers, and your generous financial gifts-we could be off the television in your home as soon as next week. It could happen that fast, unless we hear from YOU, TODAY.

How is it possible that the Hour of Power could be off the air almost immediately, still today? Here's why:
1) Since 1990, the Hour of Power has gone from being available on 160 TV stations across America, seen by 1.2 million persons every week, (at an annual cost of over $20 million), to...
2) ...today-the Hour of Power is available on only five TV stations, (Lifetime and TBN are our primary carriers), seen by slightly less than 1 million persons every week (at a current annual cost of around $6 million).
The challenge for us, and the reason why the Hour of Power could go off the air so quickly, is because people, in homes, are faced with HUNDREDS of channel choices (not just 5 or 6 anymore). It's harder to find the Hour of Power than it's ever been before.
So, fewer people finding and watching the Hour of Power means fewer dollars being contributed. And, fewer dollars constantly challenges our abilities to pay our bills to stay on TV in YOUR HOME.
